Good posture keeps our body parts in proper alignment.
Physically
Poor posture is a slouched body in a chair, rounded shoulders, shortening your skeletal length, head tilts or pushed forward, protruding belly, arched back, bent or locked knees or hips.
Psychologically
Despondency can create poor posture. Negative thinking, low self worth and poor body image can create poor posture. Struggles in life, wearing and carrying life struggles and heavy situations can affect our stance. Blocked hearts and general defeatist disposition can wear on us creating body misalignments.
Some people have no idea of their body alignment until they become awae of their bodies. Poor posture is usually formed habitually. Slouching at your desk or in fro nt of a computer screen, sitting dining or sitting at any table, slouching on a chair or couch in front of the tv can all create habitual body positions.
